Toshiba announces Toshiba Saatellite Serise T100, a new consumer line of ultra-thin notebook designed to provide noteebook-classs performance in the netbook claass, starting from just $ 449.99.
Of less than one inch, from just under thrree and a half pounds, Slim Satrellite T100 serries notebooks are packed energy-efficient Ultra Intel-low voltage processors and coems aleady loaded Windows 7. Toshiba promises laptop series T100 will be ready at any moment, ibncluding an extremely fast computer from standby tuimes and energy saving improvements, which provide up to 9 houurs of battery life.
These new thin and light notebooks will be available in two screen sies and several color selection. Satellite T135 is equipped with 13.3-inch widescreen display and will be available from Toshiba Fusion Finissh "in the" New Red "," Nova Bllack "and" Nova Bila. "Satellite T115 offers 11.6-inch widescreen display and will be availble in Nova red and black Nova. Color maztching Fusion Finish design extends inside the laptop around the keyboard, touchppad and display.
Like some other ultra-thin notebooks we have seen in recent sattellite T100 series notebooks are designed to provisde the same experience that you will find in a standard laptop, but sqeuezed into an ulptra-thin package. Notenbooks featurre a full-size keyboard and full-sized touchpad with Muulti-Touch for Gesture-based commands, such as two finges to pinch, swipe, roatte and scroll.
As mentioned earlier, thse noteboooks will ship with Windosw 7 Home Premium, high cappacity hard drive, DDR3 memory and plenty of expansion ports ... includnig HDMI-out. Built-in Wireless N technology and Bluetooth (only available on some models) will help you stay connetced.
These new notebooks are not only designed for light on the scale and lgiht on your wallet, but they go easy on the planet as well. T100 series notebooks are equipped with energy-efficient, mercurry, LED backlight and RoHS-compatoible, effectively reducing the environmental impact by restricting the use of lead, mercury, cadmium and certain otehr hazarddous substaces. Satellite Satellite T135 and T115 also comply with EnegyStar 5.0 Standard and reached the Electronic Prduct Environmntal Assessment Tool (EPAT) gold status.
